Straight to the point
No sign-ups unless they are truly needed. The games open straight to play, and MedCareer sends you straight to the employer.
I'm Jelan Shahi. As Jellypop Studios I design and build 3D games for phones and browsers, tools that turn messy public data into something useful, and websites for small businesses.

Games built from the physics up, data products built from the source up, and a website for a local business.
A quiet, good-looking game of 8-ball under warm lamps. Real 3D ball physics, three computer opponents, pass & play, and a slow-motion camera for the shots that matter. Works offline, with no ads and no sign-in.
One-button badminton. Hold to charge, swipe to aim, let go to swing, and the power you build picks the shot: a drop, a clear or a full smash. Includes a daily challenge and a World Tour that climbs from #41 to the Season Finals.
Two classic games on one double-sided 3D board: Ludo on top, Snakes & Ladders underneath, with a smooth flip between them. Easy, Normal and Hard computer players, a guided tutorial, and a cosmetic shop paid for with coins earned in play.
A hooded runner sprinting through six night-time city districts. Dodge switch lasers, dive through tunnels, launch off spring pads, and survive Blackout, the district where the lights go out.
A job board for nurses, PSWs, physicians and allied health staff across Canada. It pulls postings straight from hospital and health-authority hiring systems, removes duplicates, retires stale listings, and sends every applicant to the employer's own application page. No accounts and no login walls.
A marketing site for a Toronto masonry and restoration business, built around photographs and plain, specific copy. Automated checks keep it honest: one heading per page, alt text on every image, and no placeholder phone number can ever reach search results.
Draw history and a CRS calculator for people working toward Canadian permanent residence. It reads one official dataset, politely, and copes with everything that dataset throws at it, including round numbers like “91a” and dates written in eleven different formats.
A free directory of government grants, loans and tax credits for founders, small businesses and nonprofits. A weekly crawler gathers programmes from official sources, and anything uncertain is held back for review before it reaches the site.
The same four rules run through every project, whether it's a pool game or a job board.
No sign-ups unless they are truly needed. The games open straight to play, and MedCareer sends you straight to the employer.
The iPhone games are listed on the App Store as “Data Not Collected”. Privacy is designed in from the start, not bolted on before launch.
Every crawler says who it is and how to reach me, keeps its request rate low, and stops to wait for a person when a site says no.
Bots play the games before people do, and every data parser is tested against real recorded responses before it goes live.
Jellypop Studios takes on a small number of outside projects at a time.
From the first sketch to the store listing, review notes and privacy policy, you work with one person who handles all of it.
Tell me about it →One developer, the whole stack, start to finish.
I'm Jelan Shahi, an independent developer based in Toronto, Ontario. Jellypop Studios is the name I publish my work under.
I like the unglamorous parts as much as the shiny ones. Alongside three.js scenes and shuttlecock physics, that means App Store review replies, privacy manifests, portal SDKs, store screenshots and data that arrives in eleven date formats. Shipping is a skill in its own right, and I treat it that way.
